Call for Artist Submissions~ ASU Fletcher Library, Glendale Campus

Another “CALL TO ARTIST” exhibit at ASU, Fletcher Library, Glendale Campus. Sponsored by Diane Lesser/ Sun Valley Connections, LLC. Is currently underway. This exhibit will open on Monday, September 1, 2014, and run through the month of November. All artwork will be "Juried", and selected shortly after the deadline for submittal, which is Wednesday, August 20, 2014, by 5:00pm.

Sun Valley Connections LLC. is partnering with ASU Fletcher Library/ Glendale campus to provide a venue for artists to exhibit their artwork. “Art is Alive” Arts & Cultural Festival

The WHAM Art Association, a non-profit art organization, is in full swing planning for our 3rd annual, free “Art is Alive” Arts & Cultural Festival, scheduled for March 29 & 30, 2014 this year form 9:30 am to 4:30 p.m both days. The location 15960 N. Bullard Ave., behind the public library around the beautiful lake.

“We will be adding more art activities that promise to make our event even more successful”, said Connie Whitlock, President and Founder of WHAM. “Along with the Art Booths, local musicians and dancers; the Tohono O’odham dancers and 7 authentic basket weavers demonstrating; WHAM artists providing interactive art with children; a nationally known Hip-Hop artists, Bonita Lovett, giving a free dance workshop; Ability Not Disability activity with persons with disabilities using their wheelchairs and painting on a 50ft canvas on the...

Local artists join passion for the Art filling the walls of
Arizona State University West Fletcher Library
for the Holidays.

Two local artists are showcasing their passion for capturing the world of nature and still life, in an exhibit at the Arizona State University's West Fletcher Library through December 31st.

Fresh from her successful Scottsdale showing of her bold up close and touchable art,
Diane Greco-Lesser has filled the library's second floor walls with thirty-five pieces of her unique artwork. As you approach each photo it appears as a hand painted acrylic on canvas, every brush stroke emphasizing the details and characteristics of her subject.

Diane Greco-Lesser remarks “I really enjoy watching people walk up to my artwork and being fascinated in whether they are looking at a photo or a painting. Art is supposed to make you think and that is the beauty in it. I take great pleasure in observing this beautiful world we live in...

My artwork has been accepted by the Four Season of Scottsdale Arizona as unique, original and amazing.

Christmas of 2010 has come and just left the back door. It was a busy season with an order of over 25 pieces of artwork completed and delivered. In fact I meet all the receivers of my artwork, they come from across this country and over seas as far as Australia.

The excitement of my work overwhelmed me and there desire for more elated me.

I look forward to filled there requests of more of my artwork.

The new year looks like it's off and running with various order request and a showing in a local business here in Arizona.

My Artwork can sit on a small wall in little gallery and wait or I can bring the artwork to the people. The question was that simple.
I have promoted various types of companies from small to large and now I am going to promote myself, doing what I do best making connections.
